Summary of Weld Tech 2025: the international welding industry trade fair at Ptak Warsaw Expo once again conquered the sector

Welding technologies, welding equipment and machinery, materials for welding and brazing, automation and robotics in welding, as well as modern equipment for gas, laser, and plasma cutting – these topics defined the scope of Weld Tech, one of the largest trade fairs in Poland dedicated to the welding industry. The 2nd edition of the event took place on September 2-4, 2025, and recorded an increase in attendance. It was visited by 4,203 industry professionals, which is 24% more than the year before!

Summary of the main conferences at Weld Tech 2025

The Weld Tech 2025 agenda was filled with expert events that attracted specialists from all over Poland. The meetings combined practical knowledge, inspiring lectures, and workshops aimed at developing key competences for the welding industry.

Participants could attend the conference “Training welders for the needs of a changing labor market”, organized by the Association of Vocational Training Centers (ZZDZ), where experts emphasized the importance of modern training programs and adapting workers’ skills to the dynamic changes in the industry.

On the second day, the conference “Joining and Coating Technologies”, organized by the Industrial Coating Association, discussed procedures, research, and innovative methods applied in the welding and coating industries. Practical examples and interpretations of applications allowed participants to better prepare for production challenges.

There were also highly important presentations within the conference “Automation for Welding”, organized by the Polish Forum for Automation and Robotics (FAIRP). Experts demonstrated how to identify the potential of automation and robotics in welding processes and how to respond to technological changes requiring immediate implementation.

Weld Tech was further enriched by the Trends and Exhibitors’ Presentations Panel, during which the latest innovations, inspiring solutions, and key directions of development in welding technologies were showcased.
