PIOTR MICHALIK
A collaborator of the CINNOMATECH technology cluster and co-implementer of numerous research projects. For six years, he participated in daily studies of employee behavior conducted at a factory in North Macedonia, focusing on mechanisms for engaging people, building collective habits, and fostering bottom-up initiatives.
DAREK DZIUBA
A practitioner with over 20 years of international experience. He has worked in more than 10 countries — from Western Europe and Scandinavia, through Eastern Europe, to the Balkans — shaping organizational cultures within companies. He built a factory in North Macedonia from the ground up and then managed it for nearly 10 years, creating an organizational culture recognized as a benchmark in the region.

Co-creator of the new structure of the Central Technical Inspection Laboratory.

Currently, he works as a soldering specialist at Łukasiewicz – GIT Welding Center, where he supports the implementation and improvement of soldering processes in accordance with quality and technological requirements. He is also responsible for the qualification of soldering personnel and the approval of soldering technologies.Previously, he gained over a decade of experience in the automotive industry, specializing in the supervision and quality control of welding and soldering processes.He combines practical knowledge of manufacturing processes with expertise in quality assurance and hard and soft soldering technologies. On a daily basis, he conducts training sessions and lectures on soldering technologies, personnel qualification and process quality-related issues. One of his achievements is the development of a cooling technology for copper current connectors after induction brazing processes.

Marek Kołodziej
Marek Kołodziej is a Welding Inspector at SLV-GSI Polska, where since 2007 he has been responsible for the supervision and quality control of welding as well as the training of technical staff for the industrial sector, particularly in the railway vehicles, steel structures, and machine building industries.He is an International Welding Engineer (IWE) and a European Adhesive Specialist (EAS). He also holds Lead Auditor qualifications according to EN 15085-2, EN 1090-1, and EN ISO 3834, as well as the German state qualification for Lead Auditors according to DIN EN 15085-2 (EBA). He is also a Welder Examiner.For over a decade, he has been actively involved internationally as a member of the European Committee of Welding in Railway Vehicles (ECWRV), participating in the committee’s work across Europe. He serves as an assessor on teams evaluating certification bodies for manufacturers and as an examiner in the process of recognizing auditors according to ECWRV regulations.He has also gained professional experience through international contracts, including in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Finland, working on projects involving the construction of industrial installations and steel structures for the energy sector.He graduated from the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, with a specialization in Welding Technology.
Mateusz Dybowski
Mechanical Engineer (MSc), with professional expertise and experience in manufacturing technologies, mechanics, CNC, and occupational health and safety (OHS). He graduated from Lublin University of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, specializing in manufacturing and operation, and also completed postgraduate studies in occupational health and safety. He gained his professional experience, among others, as a process engineer and department manager at FENES S.A. Cutting Tools Factory, where he was responsible for production management, technical documentation, programming, implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes, as well as operator training. He currently works as a Junior Labour Inspector at the National Labour Inspectorate, where he conducts supervisory and inspection activities concerning compliance with labour law and occupational health and safety regulations. He combines technical expertise with practical knowledge of OHS and labour law.
Dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Siczek
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Lodz University of Technology in 1992, obtaining a Master of Science in Engineering degree, specializing in Motor Vehicles and Tractors. He completed pedagogical studies, as well as postgraduate studies in Management and Advanced Problems in Mechatronics at Lodz University of Technology.Between 1995 and 2003, he worked as an Assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Lodz University of Technology, and since 2003 he has held the position of Assistant Professor at the same Faculty. He completed several national research internships, as well as an Erasmus+ research stay in Romania.In 2003, he was awarded a doctoral degree in technical sciences, and in 2014 he obtained his habilitation at Poznan University of Technology. In 2017, he was awarded a doctoral degree in medical sciences by the Medical University of Lodz.He has participated in and managed Polish and European research projects. In addition to numerous presentations at national and international conferences, he is the author of more than 100 articles published in Polish and international scientific journals, covering the fields of mechanical and materials engineering, with particular emphasis on metal joining technologies (FSW), transport, batteries, recycling, and biochemistry.He has been a reviewer of scientific publications for many years, having completed 225 reviews for international publishers, including MDPI, Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis. He has also served as a reviewer of national research projects funded by NCBiR and PARP.He is the author of the monograph Tribological Processes in Valve Train Systems (Elsevier, 2016) and the monograph Next-Generation Batteries with Sulfur Cathodes (Elsevier, 2019). He is a member of the Polish Scientific Society of Internal Combustion Engines, a certified expert of the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP), and a member of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).

Dr inż. Adam Rylski
Vice-President of the Management Board of CINNOMATECH and Member of the Cluster Council.
He is a scientist, inventor, and active contributor to the scientific and engineering community, and has been associated with Lodz University of Technology since 1983. He works as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Lodz University of Technology. His scientific work focuses on materials engineering, the physicochemical properties of solid surfaces, surface modification technologies, and the fabrication of thin films using physical vapor deposition methods.
Dr. Eng. Adam Rylski is the author or co-author of numerous inventions, patents, and technical developments. The Cluster’s project documentation identifies 51 innovative solutions, while publicly available materials from Lodz University of Technology confirm numerous patents and inventions, as well as multiple awards received at international exhibitions and competitions.
For his achievements in scientific research and invention, he has received numerous national and international awards. He was honored with the prestigious WIPO Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization for his achievements in invention and activities in the field of intellectual property. In the Przegląd Techniczny competition, he received the title of Silver Engineer 2020 in the Innovation category, followed by the title of Golden Engineer in the Science category. In 2025, he became a recipient of the World Grand Scientist Award in the field of Materials Science. He received a Grand Award Certificate, a medal and trophy, as well as the title of Visiting Professor at the Korea Invention Academy.
Since 2011, he has served as a member of the jury at iENA, the International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions and New Products in Nuremberg. He is involved in evaluating technological solutions, identifying their innovation potential, and promoting the achievements of Polish inventors.

Iryna Balabańska
Łukasiewicz – GIT
She currently works as a specialist at the Welding Centre of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – GIT in Gliwice.She obtained her PhD from Lviv Polytechnic National University.She specializes in fracture mechanics and the testing of welded joints in steel structures using the CTOD (Crack Tip Opening Displacement) method. Her work focuses on assessing the fracture resistance of structural materials and analyzing the possibility of their continued safe operation. In cooperation with scientists from Lviv Polytechnic National University, she conducts research on the initiation of cracks under various types of loading, their propagation over time, and their impact on the service life, load-bearing capacity, and potential sudden failure of structures.The aim of her research is to determine whether structures with existing discontinuities can continue to operate safely and to prevent their failure, which is of critical importance for the safety of people and infrastructure. She also lectures on “Fundamentals of Fracture Mechanics,” “Fundamentals of Strength of Materials,” and “The Impact of Various Loads on Welded Structures.”

Adam Termin, MSc Eng. (IWE), is a specialist at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Górnośląski Instytut Technologiczny (GIT), where he conducts research and development activities in the field of advanced welding technologies.His professional interests focus primarily on plasma and hybrid welding processes, as well as welding procedure qualification and quality assurance in manufacturing processes.A graduate of Silesian University of Technology, he is a certified International Welding Engineer (IWE) and holds VT2 and PT2 certificates in non-destructive testing. He is the author and co-author of research and development projects and a lecturer at the Łukasiewicz – GIT Welding Centre, where he provides training for engineers, technologists, and welding personnel.
